Concert and collaborative chamber music guitarist since 1976, Dave McLellan has performed throughout the U.S., South America, Great Britain, and Europe. He has appeared in major concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and Wigmore Hall (London). Music Minus One recording artist, NEA grant recipient, Concerts Atlantique competition winner, Mr. Mclellan has collaborated with Neil Anderson (Anderson-McLellan Guitar Duo), the late guitarist/composers Frank Wallace and Edward Flower, guitarist Peter Clemente, flutist Tracy Kraus (Worcester Chamber Music Society), sopranos Rebecca Grimes and Rebekah Alexander, mezzo Emily Marvosh, violinist Emil Altschuler, cellist Seth MacLeod and with many professional and community choral groups. 

Dave is a former faculty member of The Hartt School, University of Connecticut, Performing Arts Center MetroWest and the Artist in Residence program in Harvard, MA. He currently maintains a small selective private studio for intermediate and advanced classical guitar students. 

In 1998 he Founded of Concert In Your Living Room, providing fund-raising assistance to non-profit organizations through pro-bono concerts in donors’ chosen venues. He has served on the Boards of Trustees/Directors of The Hartt School, Performing Arts Center, Boston Classical Guitar Society. 

Dave has been a timpanist/percussionist for Lincoln-Sudbury Civic Orchestra since 2013 andplays trombone in the Groton Hill New Horizons Wind Ensemble. He is a co-coordinator of and performs with the Lincoln Sudbury Civic Orchestra Chamber Players.
