The Boston Classical Guitar Society is honored to present the 2021 Frank Wallace Memorial Festival & Competition. Taking place online in May 2021, this online event will feature two concerts, a masterclass, and a competition. We invite professionals, aficionados, students, and the general public to celebrate the life, legacy, and compositions of one of New England’s most accomplished, passionate, and distinctive voices.
Our headlining artist will be William Kanengiser, from the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, and we will also welcome several artists with connections to Frank and his music. The online competition is open to students aged 16–22 with a first prize of $1000.
Thank you to the Augustine Foundation for their generous support of the Wallace Festival & Competition!
