The Hampton Trio is an ensemble of mandolin, mandola, and classical guitar (Robert Margo, mandolo/mandolin, Beverly Davis, guitar, and Mark Davis, guitar/mandolin). Their program is varied and reflects their interest to popularize and add to the existing repertoire for this particular group of instruments. Their programs often include classical guitar duos by Mark and Beverly Davis and mandolin solos by Robert A. Margo. They are all members of the New American Mandolin Ensemble and have appeared in plucked string music festivals in throughout Europe and the USA.
